Nutritional Consultation- Your Best Diet

'I wasn't sure what I was going to get, but 3 months after one 90 minute consultation I'm 2 stone down!'

Here it is, the subject we all hate talking about. Diet. Immediately the barriers are up, we are all adamant we are eating right, after all your Slimming World advisor said so. Is it genetics, it is carbs? We just don’t know. Yes we do, we really do. A diet isn’t something to be scared of, we don’t need to be restrictive and we don’t need to freak out.

So, what’s a consult?

These are for people that want to take immediate action. You are ready. No more syn this, points that. We’ve tried these methods and they worked (of course they do) to a point. But we want more. So that’s what you are gonna get. An in depth 90 minute conversation about the basics of nutrition and what’s best for your life. Now, you’re right 90 minutes isn’t a long time. So you always get a follow up ‘care package’. A review of what we spoke about during the 90 minutes as well as follow up actions and plans for you to carry out the very next day.

Do I have any other options?

Absolutely, there is also an option to go down a more formal coaching route. Here we have more frequent sessions, and can focus in a lot more on your current situation. We want to make sure your diet will be consistent forever, sure the foods and choices will change but the over riding factors remain the same. Having more sessions allow us to go into greater depth to make sure this happens.

Does training not matter then if I eat right?

Now that’s a crafty question. Nutrition is far more relevant to body fat levels, but thats only one half of the ‘tone’ equation. Your shape is the other. So, if you want the toned look, you have to have both. Training isn’t just for the looks (I’m with you, its a good chunk of the percentage) BUT, moving well, feeling fit, being able to do everything you want to or need to day to day is a pretty good feeling too. So, in short they both matter. They both really, REALLY matter.
